Lamplight

“Lamplight” is a digital photocollage, and a contemplation on innocence, curiosity, and personal freedom. Its subject, a lone, nude woman shown from the shoulders up, is positioned at the left side of the frame, gazing in wonder at the beauty of a group of moths in flight before her. One has settled on her chest, representing the sense of lightness and liberty the moths instill in the woman’s heart. The entire scene is bathed in a gentle, warm glow, emphasizing the serenity of the scene.
