Woodland Dream

“Woodland Dream” is a complex digital photocollage which includes a carefully retouched and colorized photograph of a Victorian-era girl. Inspired by the girl’s striped pinafore dress and haunting expression, the piece became a dreamscape of wilderness and fantasy, where a small girl’s bedroom melds into a forest filled with nods toward Lewis Carroll’s “Through the Looking-Glass” and Disney’s subsequent animated film, “Alice in Wonderland.”

Wolfclaw Studio pop-up sales currently offer “Woodland Dream” as a print.
